STILL MOMENTS
The goal of the project was development of the colour palette for textiles. I drew inspiration from my surroundings, blending the stillness of nature with the cozy atmosphere of my home. Using emotional design theory, I captured moments of calmness, coziness, and joy through photography. I then created a mood board with physical objects that reflected these emotions. After selecting key hues, I refined them using watercolors, experimenting with different saturations and brightness levels. The final collection of 17 colors, titled "Still Moments," was carefully chosen to tell a story of Scandinavian winter experiences and emotional connection to color.
